Over recent years, Pangeanic has established itself as a European reference in advanced language technology solutions. Its portfolio of innovative platforms and tools has earned recognition at both national and EU levels. This award is further validation of the company’s leadership in secure, AI-driven language technologies—exemplified by its recently completed project “GenAI Augmented by Controlled Information Retrieval for Privacy in Companies and Public Administrations Applied to Automatic Translation.” Supported by Spain’s Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) and co-financed by the European Union through the ERDF programme, this initiative pioneered a retrieval-augmented generative AI framework that enhances machine translation with real-time access to curated knowledge bases—ensuring high-quality, context-aware, and privacy-preserving translations for enterprise and public sector clients. By integrating adaptive AI with strict data control, Pangeanic continues to set new standards in secure, customizable language processing across Europe. Apart from this recently completed project, the Ministry has taken into account previous  technologies for the award such as:

• ECO Platform: A scalable, end-to-end NLP suite offering AI machine translation, data masking, summarization, and more—adopted by public institutions and government, tech firms, and SMEs across sectors.

• Deep Adaptive AI Translation: Breakthrough machine translation technology delivering near-human fluency. By dynamically leveraging TMX, TSV, and CSV translation memories with proprietary RAG technologies, it achieves in-domain translation with up to 90–95% parity with human translation quality. 

• PECAT Platform: A Proprietary system that executes automatic text classification and human review services with complete privacy, either in private cloud or as private SaaS. This platform has evolved into a comprehensive datasets for AI solution that facilitates the collection, annotation, and verification of training datasets from Pangeanic's extensive multilingual data lake and external sources. The company's expertise in producing clean, ethically sourced, and linguistically diverse datasets has become a significant competitive advantage and revenue stream, serving Silicon Valley companies and organizations that develop large language models. These models require high-quality human linguistic resources and synthetic data generation for specific machine learning purposes.

• Masker – AI-Powered Anonymization Software: A multilingual tool developed within the European MAPA project, ensuring full compliance with GDPR and international data protection standards.

• ECOChat: A secure, multilingual AI chatbot ecosystem powered by RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and agentic AI workflows, enabling businesses to extract insights from internal data—privately and efficiently.

• Pangeanic plays a key role in the MOSAIC Project, a European initiative aimed at breaking language barriers in public service broadcasting. The company contributes advanced language technologies that enable automated subtitling, multilingual metadata generation, and AI-driven translation of audiovisual content across multiple European languages. By integrating its adaptive machine translation and natural language processing expertise, Pangeanic enables broadcasters to efficiently localize and distribute content, thereby improving accessibility and cross-border reach for diverse audiences. • Neural Translation Engines for the EU (NTEU Project): Leadership in developing over 500 neural machine translation models covering all official EU languages—enabling seamless cross-border communication between public administrations. Neural technologies are still in use and compete with LLM translation because of their higher accuracy, lack of hallucinations, speed, and cost.

• Translation for Europeana: Key contributions to projects like Europeana Translate, building machine translation tools for over 25 million cultural heritage documents across Europe.
