Swordfish translation editor is a cross-platform CAT (Computer Aided Translation) tool based on XLIFF 1.2 open standard published by OASIS. Swordfish supports TMX (Translation Memory eXchange), the vendor-neutral open XML standard for the exchange of Translation Memory (TM) data created by Computer Aided Translation (CAT) and locali 
zation tools, published by LISA (Localisation Industry Standards Association). Jordi Balcells, Technical Director at Pangeanic, has collaborated on a pro-bono basis with the localization of the translation platform Swordfish, adopting this technology in our continous strive to offer better and faster time-to-market solutions. This technology can manage, recycle text, autopropagate identical and similar matches and also integrate machine translation, also being able to create and maintain TMs.
