Swordfish translation editor is a cross-platform CAT (Computer Aided Translation) tool based on XLIFF 1.2 open standard published by OASIS. Swordfish supports TMX (Translation Memory eXchange), the vendor-neutral open XML standard for the exchange of Translation Memory (TM) data created by Computer Aided Translation (CAT) and locali swordfish logo showing a map of the worldzation tools, published by LISA (Localisation Industry Standards Association). Jordi Balcells, Technical Director at Pangeanic, has collaborated on a pro-bono basis with the localization of the translation platform Swordfish, adopting this technology in our continous strive to offer better and faster time-to-market solutions. This technology can manage, recycle text, autopropagate identical and similar matches and also integrate machine translation, also being able to create and maintain TMs.
