Our technological division PangeaMT has been selected as one of the 5 leading tech Spanish companies to be immersed in the Israel and Hong Kong startup ecosystem in a joint program between ICEX and TheFloor.
A work session took place in Madrid at the end of May which marked the start of the "Tel Aviv Challenge", the new program launched jointly by Red.es and ICEX, public agencies dependent on the Ministries of Economy and Industry respectively. The initiative arose with the aim of providing Spanish companies the opportunity to learn the best practices in innovation and entrepreneurship in the Israeli ecosystem and then discover how to scale up a business in the Bay of Guandong area - Hong Kong - Macao and the rest of Asia. During the presentation of the project, the CEO of ICEX, María Peña, highlighted that "our aim is to support the growth and development of companies through internationalization. We strive to provide tangible results with our mentoring programs and offer companies the tools that will allow them to make it a reality". David Cierco, General Director of Red.es, stated that "thanks to initiatives such as the Challenge program, we are making it easier for Spanish technology companies to land in an entrepreneurial ecosystem as important as that of Israel". It should be remembered that both agencies participate in the most relevant events of the ICT sector through national pavilions organized jointly as they are: 4YFN (Barcelona), VivaTech (Paris) or the Digital Enterprise Show (Madrid), where Pangeanic also presented its language technologies - particularly in the field of automatic data classification and key data extraction, machine translation, anonymization and summarization.
